NCR Global Headquarters: In July 2015, Cousins signed a 15-year build-to-suit lease with NCR Corporation, a leader in consumer transaction technologies, for the company’s world headquarters. Located in the Midtown submarket of Atlanta, phase I of the project consists of an approximately $213 million, 500,000 square foot building and is slated for an early 2018 delivery. In 3rd quarter 2016 Cousins signed a 16-year lease for the second phase of NCR’s headquarters consisting of an approximately $120 million, 260,000 square foot building which is estimated to be delivered in 4th quarter 2018. Both office towers are 100% leased to NCR.
Carolina Square: In partnership with Northwood Ravin, Cousins is developing an innovative mixed-use project located in the heart of Chapel Hill, NC. This $123 million development consists of 158,000 square feet of office, 44,000 square feet of retail and 246 apartment units. Similar to our Emory Point mixed-use project, Carolina Square is uniquely located adjacent to the University of North Carolina. Delivery of this project is slated for late summer 2017.
8000 Avalon: 8000 Avalon is the first high-rise office building in the second phase of Avalon, a leading mixed-use development in North Atlanta. Hines and Cousins entered into a joint venture to develop the $72 million, 224,000 square foot project, which is currently under construction. Microsoft is the lead customer in the project which is slated to be delivered in the second quarter of 2017.
