Fifth Third Center: Cousins acquired the 698,000 square foot Fifth Third office tower located in the heart of Charlotte’s Uptown business district in 2014 and quickly achieved leasing success – taking the property from 82 percent leased at the time of purchase to over 95 percent today. Cousins re-energized the building with a clear-cut capital improvement plan that included an enhanced customer entry, improved lighting and wayfinding and a refreshed main lobby. Additional improvement plans are in progress, including a new coffee offering with seating in the front lobby, as well as a new dry cleaning concept. The redevelopment of Fifth Third Center represents Cousins’ strategy and commitment to creating a best-in-class workplace environment for its customers.
Northpark: Having acquired the building in October 2014, Cousins executed an extensive capital improvement plan at Northpark Town Center in 2015, which included enhancements to the common areas, a renovated fitness center, redesigned conference facilities, improved wayfinding throughout the campus and refreshed landscaping. Additional improvement plans are in progress, including a new coffee offering, lobby renovations and additional conference center enhancements. The redevelopment of the 3-building, 1.5 million square foot, Class-A office complex located in Atlanta’s Central Perimeter has truly transformed the property into a revitalized, collaborative workplace for its customers.
