Concourse Corporate Center Receives BOMA 360 Designation
Atlanta – July 22, 2010 – Five buildings at Concourse Corporate Center in Atlanta have been designated BOMA 360 Performance Buildings by the Building Owners and Managers Association International (BOMA). Concourse I, II, IV, V and VI, owned by TIAA-CREF and managed and leased by Cousins Properties, earned the recognition from the BOMA 360 Performance Program, which validates and recognizes commercial properties that demonstrate best practices in building operations and management.
"Achieving the BOMA 360 designation for Concourse is a major accomplishment,” said Cousins Properties’ Janet Brody, Real Property Administrator (RPA). “Through our Cousins Way property management processes, we have set a standard of excellence across the 20 million square feet of office space we’ve managed over the past 52 years. This award reaffirms our commitment to that goal."
Located in the Sandy Springs suburb of Atlanta, the 63-acre mixed-use complex features five distinct Class “A’ buildings and premiere amenities, including upscale lodging, dining, an athletic club and a childcare facility.
“We are proud to designate Concourse I, II, IV, V, and VI as BOMA 360 Performance Buildings in recognition of the high standards the management team has achieved in every aspect of building operations and management,” said BOMA International Chair Ray H. Mackey, Jr., RPA, CPM, CCIM, partner and chief operating officer, Stream Realty Partners, L.P. “Achieving the BOMA 360 designation for your building demonstrates to owners, tenants, prospective tenants and the community that your property is being managed to the highest standards of excellence.”
The BOMA 360 Performance Program is an online self-assessment that evaluates properties in six major areas: building operations and management; life safety / security / risk management; training and education; energy; environmental / sustainability; and tenant relations / community involvement. The BOMA 360 Performance Program takes a holistic approach to evaluating a building’s operations and management and benchmarks a building’s performance against industry standards. The program comes at a critical time, as building owners and managers are looking to differentiate themselves in a demanding market.
